This terms and conditions of use agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, describes the terms and conditions applicable to the user’s access to and use of the Site. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use and/or register on the Site without having the consent and knowledge of your parents and/or guardians. We do not voluntarily collect personal information from persons under the age of 18, as provided in the Privacy Policy.

Site Features Our site brings together content (news and publications) produced by Instituto Juruá and partners based on studies, scientific data and reports covering socio-environmental and economic issues, allowing you to have reliable bases to generate reports, graphs, tables, spreadsheets, maps and other necessary content. Our goal is that the Site can help companies, industry associations, public agencies, civil society and other users to identify socio-environmental and economic opportunities and risks of investment and expansion, in addition to informing.
2.2. Site Changes and Disruptions WE MAY UNILATERALLY MODIFY THESE TERMS OF USE AT ANY TIME, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION, BY POSTING UPDATED TERMS OF USE ON THIS SITE. Information on the Site All information and Content available on the Site is intended to serve as a general information resource and is provided solely on an “as is” and “as available” basis. 2.4.Availability of the Site We seek to ensure that the information provided is accurate, complete, current and that its use is uninterrupted and error-free. However, we cannot guarantee full-time operation of the Site, as it depends on services provided by third parties, such as telecommunications companies and internet access providers. In addition, we will suspend the use of and access to the Site in the event of unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure and in other cases that may impair the functionality of the Site and put users’ information at risk.

The intention of this policy is to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings when projects developed by Instituto Juruá professionals are similar to the creative works of others. All Submissions, including unsolicited submissions and those made at the request of Instituto Juruá, will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary, and Instituto Juruá may use, enjoy and dispose of such Submissions as it sees fit.
