This privacy policy provides for the treatment and collection of personal data, such as, but not limited to, email address, IP data, and other personal data, as specified in item 2 below, which may be provided by users when browsing, accessing and/or using the website managed by Instituto Juruá, a Brazilian civil society organization with an environmentalist purpose, constituted as a non-profit civil association, headquartered in the Municipality of Manaus, State of Amazonas, at Rua Belo Horizonte nº 19, The Palace Business, room 612, Adrianópolis CEP: 69.057-060.

Definitions Whenever there is mention of the terms “Instituto Juruá”, “we” or “our” we are referring to Instituto Juruá; as well as whenever there is mention of the terms “you”, “user”, “your”, “your”, we will be referring to you, user, who is consenting to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use to make use and have access to the Site. “Personal data”, according to Brazilian legislation (art. 5, I, of Law No. 13,709/2018), is “information related to an identified or identifiable natural person”.

o Occasionally, also, and always upon signature of the Term of Authorization for the Use of Image/Voice, we can also take photos and record videos to publicize volunteer actions and events in which you may participate.

To collect the above personal data, we use different methods, including:

  1. Direct Interaction: We obtain information directly from you, for example when you subscribe and fill in them directly.
  2. Automated technologies or interactions:
  • If you enter your details into one of our online forms and do not ‘submit’ or indeed ‘submit’ the form, we may contact you via email to see if we can help with any issues you may be experiencing. with the form or our websites;
